Fashion Bazaar Project 2010: Blogshops go Bazaar!

Here is a bazaar that marries blogshops with the party/clubbing scene.  This is an indicator of a young culture at work.

Fashion Bazaar Project, also known as ‘FBP’, is the common ground for blog shop owners and clubbers / fashion enthusiasts to come together under one roof where fashion is brought to a higher level of interaction and communication. Organised by Urban Eventz, ‘FBP’ lies in its unparalleled creativity of various venues in blending the theme nights, shopping and night life experience together.

Part of Fashion Bazaar Project last year was the success of Fashionista Season 1 at SMU and in 2010, the upcoming Fashionista Season 2 at SCAPE Youth Park will lead FBP to take the next big step to have the involvement of the clubs in nightlife to promote this value added service to their patrons/guests in Singapore.

FBP will also incorporate theme nights with the venues, having several activities such as the Blog Shop Fashion Show in conjunction with FBP New Face Beauty Pageant Contest, all for the purpose of providing a wonderful and unforgettable experience for everyone and to make this project an even greater success.  Popular blog shops will be duly invited to showcase their exciting collection on the runway by models during Blog Shop Fashion Show. Apart from introducing the latest fashion trends, it also allows shoppers/patrons to experience their virtual shopping live. This is also a platform for blog shop owners to market their online stores and to expose shoppers/patrons to a wider horizon of a wonderful experience of integrated shopping.

FBP sets an exclusive platform for local talents to perform to the public, promoting business and traffic for blog shops, taps into the deepest desires of shopaholics, as well as fulfilling the utmost fantasies of young aspiring rockers. It is all about attracting people of all ages with the promise of an afternoon shopping and live entertainment.

MyFatPocket.com is proud to be the Official Online Media for Fashion Project Bazaar 2010. Bianca Zen, Editor of MyFatPocket.com says, “What Kevin Chua from Urban Eventz has done - conglomerating fashion, music and entertainment - is a smart youth marketing strategy through the use of different and interactive platforms. Fashion Project Bazaar focuses on the right group of target audience and taps on their lifestyle to brilliantly reach out to them further. Flea Markets and Bazaar Organizers

Bazaars and flea markets are now an important part of the blogshop scene.  This creates an opportunity for businesses to emerge that provides specialized services that cater to these offline events for blogshops.

This is an example of a company in Malaysia that specializes in such events.

I think this type of company are like event organizers, albeit more specialized.

This is yet another example of the self-organizing and collaborative spirit that mark the blogshop culture.  The phenomenon feeds on itself and new entities are created to fill specific needs and thus spur further growth of blogshop enterprises.
